Hi malware fighters,

Check this with utmost care here (do not go there if you are not aware of the implications):
Social network de-anonymization:
http://128.111.48.22/experiment/

With fingerprinting and group analysis it is quite easy to find the unique Identity of a member within (a) social network group(s). Read how researchers did this: http://www.iseclab.org/
Next the browser history has to be stolen: http://jeremiahgrossman.blogspot.com/2006/08/i-know-where-youve-been.html
All webapplication with unique links are vulnerable and the attack could form a threat to millions and millions of users,

That's one reason I'm not particularly thrilled with where Yahoo's gone over the last year or two.  Nowadays, as they've said themselves, they feel that social networking is the "in" thing,  and have totally revamped the site(s) in that direction.  So now, like it or not, many formerly (supposedly) unrelated features like Messenger and mail, your profile and even your Groups memberships are all tied together.

The relatively new "connections" thing --  :P
