Hi I use windows live mail to fetch my gmail. Is there any real need to have avast scan my mail with the mail scanner since I've read the av will scan the attachments when opened anyway so there is no real need for a separate mail scanner. I assume that gmail also scans for viruses.
If so where can I find the setting for both windows live mail and avast.
Oh I'm using win7 home premium 64bit and the newest build of avast as I just downloaded and installed it yesterday.
