..:: avast! banner ::..
« on: June 25, 2004, 04:51:00 PM »
I made something in Flash... take a look...

http://v1ru5help.org/craftec/Avast_banner.html

Of course link at the end of animation is "ALIVE", so you can click on link and teleport yourself to avast WEB site...

Note:
Flash player (at least version 5) required to be able to see this little animation...

Cheers !

Very nice !!

I think i would start with the avast logo (to catch the eye) and then the explanation text.

First word in that text is avast!.

I think it's quite noticeable what product we are talking about... animation must have it's beginning, middle and end... it speaks about great antivirus product, and then it shows you product logo, company's name and link...

Actually it doesn't matter who's text this is... as long as I do that without charging... right ?  ;) Actually, that text in the first place is compilation of many different versions of promo text we can find all over different WEB sites...

I think Vlk said in one of those threads, he will use that text to promote avast!, so I thought it would be a good idea to have a Flash banner as well.

I hope you don't mind RejZor...

Thanks Sasha, although I'm not exactly sure where to put it...
Anyway, I'll keep it - maybe we'll find a place... :)

There's one drawback -- it's almost 70K in size...

Yeah, not quite appropriate for signature, but like a banner, file is not too large in size. I've seen some banners over 200 kb, so 68 kb is really not much...

Flash animations on my web sites (in my signature), sometimes takes up to 300-400 kb...

Don't worry your mind will create more when it ready, when your mind tell you to created more Avast ideas I am 100% sure the Alwil and Vlk will get down to their knee and beg for more ideas.

The more ideas you create for Alwil Avast and you will be rewarded cause I know and I can feel it S.Z.Craftec trust me. I was thinking about putting that banner on my Signage.

Keep up the great work and May the Avast Force Artiest Creator be with you.

Thanks buddy, but certainly I don't wanna make anyone "beg on their knees"   :)

I like this software so much, and best of all those wonderful people from Alwil Software. If I can be of any help, that's fine, if not... no problem. They all are very aware of where is Recycle Bin located on their desktop  ;D Although, it would be nice if we can make some kind of cooperation in the future... I think that's everyone's dream, to work with such a great team.

Cheers !
