Weird situation with IE -new blank browser every second
« on: June 25, 2004, 07:08:12 PM »
Everytime I open IE Version 6. 2800.

O/S XP Pro

I have a browser with a blank sceen opening up and then it continues one after another and each has the word
RES: in the address bar.

The more I try to close them the more they come I have had over 30 individual browser pages opening in a couple of seconds it forces the entire system to freeze up.

Any help.

This is quite possibly related to your other post http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=4;action=display;threadid=5444 that I have replied to.

Sounds like browserhijacker, one of the real bad ones! Didn´t avast find something? Otherwise try this one:
