I received a message of a guy whom I did not connait but I would like
helped all the same (coàmment it had my mall?) here are message if
somebody knows thank you in advance I have a problem of installation
of the free antivirus avast 4.

After installhaving installed it and put of code of registration, when
I start it I have the error message according to:

Avast
UNKNOWN ERROR a space of storage could not be creates for the task
"splash".

then
UNKNOWN ERROR the configuration was not correctly charged -
dbsCreateObject error

and finally UNKNOWN ERROR the program cannot safeguard the
paramétres.

Your problem could be caused by problem with ODBC or MS Jet driver. I suggest you changing the "Database" key of "data\avast4.ini" file from "ODBC" to "XML" and boot the computer. You can also update these Microsoft components.

Le problème est causé par le module ODBC ou le driver MS Jet driver. Il faut changer la clé "Database" du fichier "avast4.ini" qui se trouve dans le réperoire "data" de avast :
La nouvelle valeur de la clé doit être "XML" à la place de "ODBC". Il faut ensuite redémarrer l'ordinateur. Il est aussi possible de mettre à jour les composants Microsoft cités.
