Several topics about this.

Essentially most resident antivirus applications are blocked by Microsoft, except MSE, how strange that :P

Though on-demand antivirus are OK as are anti-spyware and even some resident anti-spyware.

Avast will support only major editions like Beta and RC.

Its not up to Avast!.  They are blocked from installing by Windows.  So the only thing to do is wait till Windows allows it, no amount of effort by Avast! will help with this.

Are you aware that there is an AV in Windows DP
It's pretty basic
I have tried installing Avast.I got as far registration then it stopped
I will try again when Beta is available

I will do the same when beta comes out thanks rambo1940,  I know there is registration in free antivirus :)
