I dont think they will do it now or in this year,make your own portable "if you can and tell us what happen with you"

I had 4.x on a USB U3 microCruzer.

Not entirely sure how the whole 'portable app' thing works..I think I WILL check it out.  I think that there could be a GREAT benefit to having Avast! installed on a removable drive, yet able to be turned on manually.  Maybe this could help in detecting kits that are normally designed to attack Avast at its source directory or something???

Yea, sounds like a great project, so long as I dont violate any EULA..

Any word on us forum posters doing something like this, VLK?  Or is this something that needs to be licensed to be done?

Any help would be appreciated...just check out portableapps.com for information on converting to this...no, Im a Helix guy, I dont work for the PA crew.
