Simple question: Is it possible

...to get infected just by searching the Google (pics/photos), without clicking on the thumbnails?
Intel Core i7 Q 740 @ 1.73 GHz, 6 GB RAM, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1, Avast! Free Antivirus, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (free version) and Sandboxie (paid version).

Thanx! :) If I completly turn off filtering in google's safe search setting, will I still be malware safe just like before or can I get malware from those search results (pics/photos)?

I don't think that this safe search feature is an anti-Malware feature

It has more to do with hidden adult content

But I am not so sure  8)

(Some) porn content is blocked. Not malware.

I see. I tought it prevents JPG file infections. Then it doesn't matter if I enable or disable it... Thank you! :)
