install later - how ?

Hi,
I downloaded the Home edition, but didn't save it, just clicked on Open. And it created a Temporary folder.
after download I decided to install later.
Now I don't know how to install and  can not find the downloaded files .
Should I download again ? To save it or again to Open ?
I wouldn't like to have two sets of the same files.

I think you should download it again and save the file (setup.exe) to disk.

When i downloaded, it was saved into a Temp.folder somewhere.
I quit the setup before it started and the program asked me if I want to install later. I clicked ok...
So, how do I install now ?
What is the file name should I look for ?
If I download the program again with "Save" it, it will create a new folder. Will the program identify the other Temp. Folder with already downloaded files ?

When you download, the system asks YOU to pick the folder and directory where it will be stored.

I suggest that you put it somewhere easily located.
I created a Download folder on my C drive specifically for downloads.

You can look on your hard drive under the main hd/windows/temp or hd/windows/internet files
Look for the Avast folder.

Anyway, even if you have a set of files in the Temp folder, they can be easily cleaned out.

Do as Technical advised.....download a new copy and save it just in case you need to reinstall it at a later date.

I searched for files with "Avast' and found only one:
avast.setup-OE.....B1.pf
it's a small file, and Windows couldn't open it.
Anyway, I'm going to download again.

Zee, when you finish your download you can see the default name of the setup file and search all the HDD to see where is the 'old' one.
If you do not change your settings, the new download will be at the same place of the old. It's not a temporary folder but the one you set to, anyone you could choose. Like Techie said, choose an easy to remember one.

I downloaded again and installed it. Seems like it was downloaded to the same place as a previous one.
It's working now and looks ok.
