Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately it's difficult to make any suggestions with so little information provided.
What is your email client - Outlook Express, Outlook, Thunderbird etc? or are you using Web mail?
What operating system do you have, and what version of Avast, 4.8 or 5.0, free or paid for?
When you say you always get a warning, exactly what is the warning?
You mention your recipients getting only partial emails. What does this mean, do they get the full messaget but no attachment, or only part of the email message?
Have you only just installed Avast, and if so what AV did you use before. and how did you remove it?
The more information you can provide, the better the response is likely to be.
