Should I install windows 7?

Should I install windows 7?

I currently have Windows Vista. My mum got a new computer with windows 7 installed - She made recovery disks and used them on the laptop and now that has windows 7?

I am mainly into games and would prefer to have a faster running OS without loss of stability, errors, not being genuine, capatibility with trend micro and microsoft office, etc.

I have a HP Pavillion Dv6

The Windows 7 theme and visuals are nothing I like and was wondering if they can be changed to look like vista with the same functionality.

I'm not sure what other things I need to tell you, but if so feel free to ask =]

Ah thanks Charley, I just now realised  that I forgot I could search it.

Anyway, that's good.

My main questions now are....

Will the Windows 7 version be unlegit? (since it's been gathered from the other comp)
Will it run games faster than vista?
Will I have any problems if my computer came with Vista and is being changed?
Will most software/games be compatible?
Will my internet connection improve or stay the same?
Is Windows 7 faster than Vista, without anything running and for loading programs?

absolutely  ;D (are you really wondering ?) ... anyway it shouldn't work, that's what it's made for, hardcoded with the motherboard  ;)
