Virtualised or Sandbox Applications
« on: February 28, 2010, 01:01:09 AM »
I am using Avast Personal for almost 3 years near without concern for my personally sandboxed applications i use on usb, after todays automatic update all of my executables warn that they contain malware:gen , i can honestly say they are malware free, i should know because i am the author. I am getting daily mails all around the world, telling me i have infected peoples computers, which i have not.

I can only use my programs which are sandboxed with either "Boxedapp Packer" or "Vmware Thinsuite" by disabling the Avast protection :(

How can i avoid this isssue?

Please send one executable file (marked as malware:gen) in a password-protected zip/rar file directly to virus@avast.com. Make sure the password is included in the body of the email. Thanks.
