No Auto Start

I boot my desktop, a new version of w7, new tower pc, new install of Avast version 5.0.462. 
When I boot up, StopZilla auto starts and will make noise and be monitoring for my safety.
When I boot Avast on my wife's computer it auto starts.
When I boot my pc the Avast desktop icon has to be clicked, the main screen opened, then minimized, for it to appear in the system tray, and over near hidden icons area next to the Action Center.

So what I am asking is:  shouldn't Avast auto start with a boot?  If it should how do I get it to do that, where is the setting ?

There is no such setting, it does that by default.
If not, go to Win Control Panel and to functions and programs and do a repair installation. Reboot.

Should work then.
