When I used Avira, I thought the nag-screen was quite scary - as in - rogue-like.

Just the thought of False Positives scares the hell out of me

I wouldn't know an FP .. From real Malware

Add to that... Avira's Pop Up Adverts

No Hally, Avira is absolutely worth trying. It is one of the best antivirus programs in the world(oviously behind Avast) but a lot better than AVG or BitDefender. A 1000 times better than PC Tools Antivirus but still lacks the use of many modules. Let's wait till Avira AntiVir Personal 10 comes out and I will be the first to cover it up on this forum(I think and if you want!) Avast! is currently my choice but if anything goes wrong I will always go to Avira for my second preference. I have never even bothered to try AVG because it lacks almost everything.

I've Tried - AVG

AVG was what I had on my Desktop computer .. Before I Found Avast!

Hated - AVG

For the extra protection - It was the paid version of AVG that I was using

But it was still... Rubbish!
