Lexmark x5075 Help

I get the following error message when opening Lexmark Productivity center...  Printing application has encountered a problemand needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.

Lexmark said it is anti  virus software issue and is not familiar with avast. So I need to contact them to allow the printer to work properly. Any suggestions???
