« on: March 08, 2010, 09:59:28 AM »
Hello,sorry for my english...
Im using d-link router with NAT enabled and windows 7 firewall with inbound-outbound control , in windows firewall i have 2 rules for web browsers , one for port 53 to router and second for ports 80,443 , if rule for 80,433 disabled in windows firewall when avast  web shield stopped , all ok , i cant browse , when web shield enabled my web browser bypassing windows firewall , that not good :( ...
What rules i should write in win 7 firewall for safe browsing with web shield enabled ?
Thanks in advance...

If you have outgoing protection enabled in the Win 7 firewall, you should set the web shield to only scan well known browser processes. If it is set to scan all processes, the outgoing rules you have made in the Windows firewall for other applications than the browser will very often be bypassed. I and others have confirmed this.
