Could it be a bluff from Avast since my free trial is about to expire? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Sweetheart, Avast does not pull that crap -- Alwil's probity is why you're using it in the first place!

@ Brickman

The VT Results page you posted is from a very old scan, autorun.inf received on 2009.11.17, so when it says that it has been scanned before you should always have it rescanned as that old scan didn't even have avast detecting it.

I have been using avast for over five and a half years and it has no need to pull strokes like you suggest to get people to either register or renew, it is a good AV and has no need to resort to underhand practices.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security
