Avast failed to start
« on: February 24, 2010, 12:23:29 PM »
Please I just finished installing avast in my centos box which is running qmail as well.

When I attempt starting it with the command /etc/init.d/avastd start, it fails and I see this error in the error log:

Feb 24 11:20:03 avastd[19090]: warning: section 'local' is expired or has invalid license file
Feb 24 11:20:03 avastd[19090]: warning: section 'mail' is expired or has invalid license file
Feb 24 11:20:03 avastd[19090]: error: can't initialize all daemon instances, exiting

Please any help?

Hallo,
you need the license file, available on our website (demo-license), or simply buy a paid one.

Please give me the url to download the  license. I searched for it but couldn't get it.

Thanks!

The trial license request page is not yet ready.
