Doesn't update or something. Why?

Hello,

No matter what I do, it doesn't update but instead it comes back always stating that it is updated. Why it doesn't remove/clear the message?

try avast repair and reboot

For a repair of avast. Windows, Add Remove programs, select 'avast! Anti-Virus,' click the Change/Remove button from the pop-up window, scroll down to Repair, click next and follow.

It did. Just add to reboot afterward to your method.
