Two errors (IRQL and MULTIPLE_IRP)
« on: March 13, 2010, 09:17:18 PM »
Hello,

So I have been using the free version 5 with no difficulties. I decided to upgrade to the internet security version, but have not been able to actually use it yet. At first I received a blue screen upon reboot that said IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I checked the box that said "Load after system services" and it went away. However, now I am getting MULTIPLE_IRP_REQUESTS

From some basic googling, I know that the MULTIPLE_IRP error usually occurs when two drivers are trying to access the same I/O port. I am unsure as to what is causing this. I've turned off the windows firewall - thinking maybe it was a conflict there. I do not (and have not) had any other antivirus installed on this machine. I have not had any recent driver updates or anything of the sort. I am using winXP 32bit professional. Any ideas?  ???

Thanks in advance,

apoco

Hello,

please send me the corresponding minidumps (from the \windows\minidump folder) for further analysis.

Thanks
