avast in sys trey
« on: March 14, 2010, 04:22:06 PM »
Avast does not show up in the sys trey when I start computer. I don't know weather it is running or not. I turn on from all programs. Does anyone know how to get computer to recognize avast at start up.

Thank you

Is "hide unused tray icons" set? If so, disable that. right click on the start-button and select "properties"

Thanks for the suggestion but I have already tried that. I have solved the problem kind of. I put it in win patrol start up and it now shows up on the system trey at start up. I also get the avast splash screen and have to close then everything is ok. I guess that is the best I can do.   thank you for your help
