Consistently High Commit Charge
« on: July 03, 2004, 04:57:03 AM »
Hi, even after reboot my commit charge seems to be anywhere from 180 - 250, without any programs running (other than anti virus). Is there anyway to cut this down? I've tried various optimization tools, and shutting down the AV only lowers it to about 150 - 180.  This is really frustrating since it takes awhile to change between programs, and my computer seems slow in general which it shouldn't be since it's a Athlon XP 2400++

My computer is incredibly slow at running programs, heck, even openning the start menu takes like 10 seconds.
