The whole point of secure encrypted traffic (for privacy/security) is to keep prying eyes out and that includes AVs. Once exceptions are made to be able to combine AV scans of secure/private date, it is neither secure or private any more, busted, useless and a waste of time having the HTTPS or VPN protocols.

privacy: keep ads out; keep ad-devs out; keep any1 out trying 2 know where & what you do...
av: keeps one save from being infected from whatever available 2 infect...
combination: not impossible! but (i admit) very difficult...
someday there it will be: 'the perfect system' (kind of) *dream*...

You can't have one thing whilst retaining security/privacy, as it make the whole point of encryption/security/privacy pointless, if you can't understand that I can't explain it any further.

You still don't get it, when the whole purpose of secure encrypted traffic is to keep your data secure/private and the developers of secure protocols spend lots of time and money to ensure that doesn't happen.

Once broken for whatever reason it is broken and they will try and make it more secure or the whole concept is useless. If AV can scan your secure traffic then so can malware, end of story.
