Avast! starts w/Mailshield off
« on: March 21, 2010, 03:32:50 AM »
I booted up and the Avast! V5.0.462 system tray icon progressed to the point there was an exclamation point visible. I right clicked the Icon, and Mailshield was off. There was a FIX banner in the window. This happened once before shortly after I installed V5.0.518 and I just rebooted to another snapshot and fixed it that way. This time I re-booted and Avast! loaded OK. I seem to remember a few posts concerning this a while back. Is this a bug or did Avast just spit up on the first boot attempt. If it's a bug, is a fix in the works for the next build? When it happened my Outlook got an error on loading.

if its a bug and only occurs once, i can live with it.
