Win.ini file: why is an avast! section?
« on: July 03, 2004, 03:55:08 PM »
Just a curiosity:

Why is added a section into C:\WINDOWS\win.ini file to avast?
Isn't a typical configuration for 16-bit applications support?

[AVAST!]
paging=
TimerCriticalSection=
Install=1904

Strange. avast doesn't normally write anything to the file.  :)

I'd suggest to delete the values and watch if they reappear...
