Application Configuration
« on: March 21, 2010, 01:53:25 PM »
I bought and successfully installed Avast Internet Security on one computer, but when I try to install it on the second home computer it says that my configuration is incorrect and reinstalling it may solve the problem...well after reinstalling it about 5 different times, I'm not better off that I was before.

I've uninstalled all other virus software, so I'm not sure what could be the problem. Hoping for an easy to understand solution.

Thanks!

What are those previous antiviruses you uninstalled?

Webroot...I think I also tried to uninstall Norton, but my computer wouldn't let me. My father-in-law installed something called Advanced System Care that I uninstalled.

Norton leaves remnants even after being uninstalled. I suggest you run the appropriate removal tool. Please click this link and proceed to download and run the removal tool.
