What's The Oldest Version of Outlook That Avast 5 Can Scan?
« on: March 21, 2010, 10:08:02 PM »
I don't use MS Outlook, but I know people who do, and I wanted to let them know about Avast 5's capability with Outlook?  I assume that very old versions of Outlook/Offce 97-2000 are no good, but Outlook XP (Office 2002) or higher with the proper MS/Windows Update patches should be fine, right?  Thanks in advance.

I honestly have no idea regarding the Outlook plugin - but even if that one failed, the generic mail scanner can protect any client.
