Issues with Web Shield and Prevx 3.0

I have to disable the web shield so i can browse the internet using IE8 just happen when i installed prevx 3.0 with realtime.

Why, what function does Prevx 3.0 preform that impacts internet monitoring ?

I know which I would switch off and it isn't the web shield.

I run Avast! 5 with webshield and Prevx 3 with SafeOnline with no problems (see signature).  Along with OA and their webshield.  What other security software are you running?  What is your OS?  What error message are you getting from IE8?
