Hello. First of all, thanks for a great product.
I have Win2k installed. Avast last version + all updates.
After a full system scan a virus was found in a file in C:\Recycler. It was called Win32:Qhost [Trj]. No matter if I move or delete or anything else the message appears that avast couldn't "process the file". I tried logging in as Administrator as well as booting in Safe mode but result still stays the same. That file just wouldn't go.
However, when I scheduled boot-time scan on C:\Recycler, it doesn't find anything. I would really appreciate some helping hand.
Thanks again!

Hi,

just empty the trash (= recycler) for all drives & all users (maybe this works better with avast shield PAUSED).

if your trash is somehow protected (e.g. by NORTON), then disable this protection first ;)

Thanks, Whocares, that helped. Wish avast had done it by itself though. Have a good one.
