HI :)

I asked my cousin to test his firewall but his AV program found virus in Folder CLT. FalseAlarm maybe?

Virustotal: http://www.virustotal.com/sl/analisis/73a4e56396833c153f104aafdf072bdccbe39cecf4673180590a2a93e62952f6-1269624584

Thx for your help and have a nice day. ;)

Those are the simulated tests - not real malware.

The meaning is very simple:
Play with fire long enough, and you will get burned.

I don't use a software firewall as I know how to protect my systems: :)

Both videos are excellent to watch all the way through.

In most instances however, a software firewall is highly recommended and should be used.  IMHO

agreed yep, and the argument of just deactivating UPNP on the router (as advised by the MalwareByte dev) doesn't convince me either...,not mentioning that router's firewalls often don't offer an easy to tweak outbound protection, and that configuring properly the inbound interface, always on the router, is time consuming...it's just a very unfriendly interface.

Thank you, yes CLT is what I mean. I'm using CIS 3.14 now and the updater shows no updates. I will download the new version and report back after testing for awhile. ;D
Happy testing.... 8)
No joy for me. :( There is a big improvement over RC1 but still I am only able to reach 330/340 in CLT even with sandboxing disabled. I spent hours at the forum trying to figure it out, but I couldn't. So I am back to version 3.14 and everything is well. Maybe I'll try again when 4.1 comes out.

But I'm happy for you that it is working well! :)

True... there is High Risk Trojan in the CLT zipped.....my question is that am having 2nd thoughts about both Avast & MBAM......why not go for a purchased resident version of A squared.....I agree with its reviews.....its detection & sensitivity is the best so far I have seen.......A squared resident is still better than both Avast & MBAM??? :-\
OS: W7 Pro 32bit.

Protection:  Avast 12.3 Free, MBAM.

First of all it is not a virus at all. If you look at the detection names in that Virustotal, you will find that most are heuristic/generic detections. This is obvious as the test suite does so much to find the leaks..... So don't leave Avast for these.... :P
About A-squared, I lost faith on them. They had a very good/reliable detections in the past. But no more today. It may be very high on detections in different tets but it produces a lot of false positives....

matters became worse now-a-days. Moreover their webshield is too much aggresive....
