Are you running the latest 64-bit Windows Defender What I see in About Windows Defender available in Help options: Client Version: 6.1.7600.16385Engine Version: 1.1.5605.0Antispyware definitions: 1.79.1151.0Latest definitions available from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/Definitions/ADL.aspx

So I take it that using this method gets you the latest definitions before they are available via windows update or the WD gui.
Install the latest Windows Defender definition updates for computers running x64-based versions of WindowsDownload and install definition updates for Windows Defender on computers running x64-based versions of Windows.
