Nowadays you can find a lot of proxies made specifically for FACEBOOK I doubt them! I just use proxies for reading stuffs that are blocked here like Christian websites and so on...
I don't believe there is any true anonymity as proxies probably retain information on date, time, IP addresses as they have to know what IP address to send the requested data. So there would be a paper trail.
yep the Tor network seems to do what it says it's supposed to do: guarantee anonymity. This said I tried it once, just for fun as I don't use nor need a proxy: Tor makes your browsing crawl.
