Hello, my Avast is spamming my screen with "threat detected" messages
The object is in my system32/drivers/Impapi.sys
Infection is Alureon-FZ
Action is moved to chest.

I don't know how to delete this.
Any help would be great

Thanks

You mean atapi.sys?

Download TDSS Killer by Kaspersky and extract it from the zip file into a folder on the infected (or potentially infected) PC.

* Run TDSSKiller.exe.
* Wait for the scan and disinfection process to be over. You do not have to reboot the PC after the disinfection is over.

Next create a log report by typing the following command:

Code: [Select]
TDSSKiller.exe -l report.txt
Attach the log in your next post.

Are you finished?

You may need to follow Essexboy's Instructions if TDSS Killer fails to scan.
