Ubuntu Netbook Remix has better interface. More eye candy. Hope it's not as slow as KDE.

BTW, seems like it's kinda hard to post replies a while ago. Traffic?

@ Tech

Ubuntu  10.10 is set for release in October, will be dubbed Maverick Meerkat,

I think it is going to be a Perfect Ubuntu if we are going to believe Ubuntu founder Mark Shuttleworth.

Comparison of Lucid Lynx Netbook Remix UIs (Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu)

KDE's Netbook Remix UI was a real eye candy. Though terribly slow. Gnome was said to have gotten a little slow too.

It's still under development and constant updates. As far as I know, WINE can now emulate a lot of Windows programs, though, mostly at 40-60% functionality.

Wine is the worse piece  of crap one can imagine; if you want to run Linux, run Linux and stick to it.

Why should I constrain myself to Linux if the feature to cross boundaries is given, for free? You'll just have to be patient for its development 'til it's good for being my default OS, no more dual boot thingy. Hehe :)

I run OS to experience them a bit and to see which one between all of these are better in side of:
1. Easiness
2. Best performance
3. Look

Well Ubuntu development is rather so an I am so impatient for them to reach a very good level!
By the way can't a lot of process be done for ubuntu?
The 9.10 just tired again yesterday and gave me a lot of bad moment!
Slow browser of firefox compared to xp which I was using!
Updating totally slow compared to Microsoft's update!

Hehe I have not yet tried out windows vista and 7 yet but my laptop won't support it I think!
Damn I wonder when I'll get the new one...by the way can a laptop of 1 gb of ram with pentium 4 processor support windows 7 ;D ?
