I've been using the Chrome 5 Beta on both Windows and Ubuntu. Though I can't really say that it's faster than Firefox in either environment, it seems to be quicker in Linux.

However, all of that aside, the biggest reason I've converted to Chrome, is that you can sync your bookmarks, settings, and themes between the browsers on both OSs (the "cloud" at work, I guess), which I think is pretty cool.

It will also make using Linux a little less strange for those of us still net picking our way around
this "new" OS.  :)

Logos, you have a knack for jumping into threads with blinding flashes of the obvious...

Yes, I'm aware of Mozilla Weave. I tried it, and found it buggy, and for me, it only worked occasionally (at best) on the Linux side. Though it may very well be much better now, than when I tried it, I've moved on, and am happy with Chrome.

Anything else?

Logos,

My comments were about Google Chrome 5 Beta, not Mozilla Weave, Toyota Camrys, Louisville Slugger bats, or anything else you might want to throw into a thread. It was just about Chrome, which works for me. Mozilla Weave did not work for me, so, there was no reason for me to mention it, nor did I even think of mentioning it.

<yawn>

Moving on...

What is wrong if I say Maybe Firefox 3.7 latest nightly is the fastest in Linux?

Maybe is not absolute. The word Maybe means But, Not, Peradventure, Perhaps, Possibility, Possible, Possibly, Probable, Sure, Uncertainty.

There is a lot of meaning for the word Maybe

And here I meant Perhaps or Uncertainty

Why should I back pedal myself?

English is not French ;D

I am scared of no one in this world - And I am not a Coward

Just a funny question that flashed my mind

Which country is the most coward in europe?

Google it if you may

No Offense  :P

don't how you'd manage to "back pedal yourself" :D ... but neither English nor French sound Arabic to me ;D

why would you be scared of anything? getting nervous?

LOL

I probably know more about the Nazi era than those people who lived in the era.

I don't want to open the Pandora's box over here

Even though the Nazis were defeated, there are various elements in the world even today that have embraced its ideals.

I just found a wounderful site which gives Linux news

Linux Today

I use Ubuntu 10.04 "The Lucid Lynx", will update to Maverick as soon as it becomes available. My Windows computer runs Avast with COMODO Firewall as antivirus solution.
