Hey Guys,
I had a problem with the Internet Security Suite making my computer lock up, particularly on shut down and start up.  (It is a brand new Toshiba NB300 and having it out of action for much of the time I have had it was very frustrating).

A friend who has a fair bit of tech support experience tracked down the issue:
Quote
The driver that came with Windows 7 was version 7.010 for the "Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller".  The latest version is 7.018 which is available from this page here:

Hard to say who's to fault since this user at this forum had the same problem and he was running AVG:

Hope this helps

That device is actually the wired LAN (ethernet) card on the Toshiba.  My driver version shows up as 7.9.  The drivers you point to are actually drivers for some of the Realtek RTL81xx wireless adapters, probably whatever your particular computer uses for built in WiFi.  So is the problem with the wired or wireless?  I have the RTL8191SE with no issues.

Sorry, that's the best answer I can actually give.  I believe that it was the wireless but I don't have the knowledge to give a better answer.
