scan buttons are invisible?

Please see attached image...

For some reason in the "Scan Now" page all the scan buttons are.. well.. blank. In order for me to scan my computer I had to create a custom scan, then run that. When I started running the scan it seemed like the scan just... started running in the background. It didn't say it started scanning or anything but my hard drive revved up. After a while I heard the sound notification for a completed scan. The whole time I was trying to see if I could watch the scan results or something and couldn't find anything. After the scan finished I looked for a scan log and didn't see one. Argh! And when I looked back on the scan page the custom scan I created kinda disappeared just like the others. It is so weird!

This isn't the first time I have seen this, I helped someone else get virus protection and had them install Avast and the same buttons were missing just like mine.

I have the free version of Avast!
I have Windows 7 32bit

Thank you in advance for your support

Try restarting your computer and see if that helps
