Lisence Invalid?....

Ok so this morning i turn on my pc and avast usually updates every day for me, and then i get a waning that avast cant complete the update. And i get a small box that says invalid key what do i do to fix this?

If the license is considered invalid, it is a chicken and egg scenario, without a valid license you won't get updates.

Where did you purchase your license ?
What version are you using, avast Pro or avast Internet Security suite ?

Check your system date and ensure that the day month and year are correct, adjust as required.

avast 4.8 pro and it should still be active, im reinstalling and hopefully that fixes the problem.

Hello, I'm also having the same problem, mine is in an inconsistant state, when I try to restart it says the service is not running. I think I have missed out putting in the license number, which has expired, think I had 7 days to do it. I've emailed avast, to try and sort the problem., so hoping I can get another license number.
