Did you read the previous posts? There is overload in the servers
There is NOT a single post before ours (romanom and Diazruanova) that states that the servers are overloaded, so where did you get the quoted info?

it's just like that...to avoid overloading the servers. If everybody was warned at the same time, ie immediately after a new version was available, nobody could get it. From what I read it takes about a week or so until all Avast users get the message. It's just technically impossible to proceed differently due to the amount of users, and Avast isn't Microsoft
(note that Windows Update servers are damned slow
...fortunately it's never more than a few megs a week )

ACTUALLY an overload problem, Logos is just explaining how is avast supposedly avoiding the overload in the first place, but guess what, I already updated successfully, so please do not bother to reply to this post.
