Avast 5 continues to have un-installing problems...

Thanks to avast-cleaner i was able to remove avast's latest version in safe mode..........However,the problems still remains even with this version..

I had problems both in 7 and today in XP...........Sorry,but its not fair!

Are you rebooting after uninstalling in Safe Mode?  Did you have any other AV's on your PC prior to Avast?  Do you currently have any other AV's on your PC besides Avast (resident)?

Do you have something like CCleaner on your PC to clean up the remnants of junk files on your PC?
