Random freezes when browsing
« on: April 18, 2010, 01:53:51 PM »
Hello there

For about 2 weeks I've been experiencing random hang-ups of my Vista SP2 64bit PC when browsing the Internet. However, I have not managed to narrow down the problem to a specific program. In order to troubleshoot this issue I uninstalled the programs I was expecting they could have been to blame, but none of them was (including avast).
I really don't know what to do now - that's why I'm turning to you guys for your help. I managed to manually invoke a kernel dump and I've got it on my hard drive. May I send it to you? As I said before - I don't think avast is to blame for this. If not, is it possible to send the dump to Microsoft directly?

During the freezes (which last about 5 seconds) I am able to move the mouse cursor. They take place every time I visit http://mozillalinks.org/wp/ after a reboot, and sometimes later on during a session.

Thank you!
