Avast 5 in safe way

Hi,

I'm trying to run Avast 5 Free in the safe way, but it doenst work. Can you help me?
My Operacional System is Windows 7 Premium 64 Bit.

You mean in Safe Mode (F8)  ???

yeah he probably means safe mode... V 5.0.499 runs in safe mode now, while 5.0.462 didn't. So it now runs with restrictions, ie the UI is accessible and manual scans can be run. And obviously as no service/driver can be loaded, there's no resident protection; also note that any setting changed in the interface won't be taken into account.

At first excuse me but my English is not very good! I'm talking about safe mode. I have now the 5.0.507. I'll try to run in the safe mode,
