Password Protected???
« on: July 12, 2004, 08:30:11 AM »
I use Avast on my clone & it does a gr8 job but on my HP it tells me that files cannot be read due to them being password protected. I realize that Avast has a password protection wich I use in cases where I pause or exit the program, but it never asks me for it when I choose to scan my files. I use Sygate firewall as other protection. If anyone can help, it would B gr8tly appreciated   ???

Thank-you 4 yur time  :-*

Then it means, those password protected files were not scanned (or didnt exist) in past, otherwise you'd be informed they're under pass protection. If you still have doubts, write us full path of the files you are convinced they coudn't be protected.
