webcams will not broadcast

three different webcams were used to try to broadcast on yahoo, skype and eyeballchat.  none are broadcasting.  preview in MY COMPUTER shows them all working fine. 

only change to computer was installing paid version of avast internet security.  am running 5.0.507 version. firewall applications rules are all set to ALL CONNECTIONS for skype, yahoo and eyeballchat.

please help!  this is how i make my money, and i need to get back to broadcasting asap.

Hi,

what about the firewall log, do you see there any blocked entries?

If you try to turn the firewall OFF, will your camera work ok with Skype?
