Got the problem just now. Memory dump file size is 1 GB. It is not possible for me to upload that file due to my limited bandwidth. (256kbps). Any other solution?
Thanks

I am using Avast free 5 on my XPSp2 machine for last couple of months. Since last 15 days Avast started turning itself off. I have multiple HDDS with multiple OS. So tested entire PC with AVG Free. Avira & could not detect any virus. Then reformatted partition & installed XPSP2 fresh and installed Avast even before installing motherboard drivers.  Again Avast starte turning off. Checked system with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, Hitman, IOBit Security 360 & OTL. All the 3said system is free. Can you please help

( Tried to attach unp200273941.tmp.mdmp file. Forum is not accepting the file)

Please help, the latest version of free Avast antivirus keeps stopping with errors. After restarting Avast, all works fine, until the next error.
I have tried repairing my install, and I use no other conflicting software. It is extra annpyoing, because it is hard to tell when avast stops working, and it just seems to happen randomly.

I find error logs and .dpm files in my Avast system directories. For instance the error log reads:

@ ajjeru,

Your post got lost in this very old thread.  Your last question was asking to send the dump file to the forum, which I instructed you on 10/06/10 was incorrect and gave you the information where to send it.  I will give it to you again:

- ZIP the file \windows\memory.dmp (try to name it uniquely) and upload it to the following ftp site: ftp.avast.com/incoming (note you don't have read access to the site, only write).

Any other posters wishing to post regarding a similar issue needs to open a new thread.  Thank you.
