Startup and Avast

Am using window xp sp3 512 gb. Startup I have comodo and Avast free.From the time I press the buton to start to the time all my icons appear 55 seconds,before avast does all its going to do it takes 4 minutes more. WHY anybody have any idea

Please post a HijackThis.
It is very unlikely that only avast and commodo are loading.

You were right Java scheduler was the culprit running.Shut that down,and now from start to full use is a record 1 min 28 sec.
