I have Exchange 2007 running on a clustered node. Win 2003 64 bit. System and App logs are clean with no other errors except for the following:
About once every 4 weeks the following happens:
DCOM Event 10010 "The server {73E709EA-5D93-4B2E-BBB0-99B7938DA9E4} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout."
Followed about 8 minutes later with:
Event 7034: "The avast! Antivirus service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s)."
And finally, about another 5 minutes later:
Event 7034: "The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 2 time(s)."
The MS Information Store services won't start. But after I stop all the Avast services on the node and restart them, i can then start the MS Information Store services.
I wait for another month or so and it happens again.
The node is running Avast 4.8.1061
Exchange 2007 component is enabled
Resident Protection components are enabled but Internet Mail is not enabled
We also use the ADMN console
HELP!
