I've been using avast! happily for at least 8 months, but just in the last 48 hours the Action Center has red flagged saying "Windows did not find antivirus software on this computer." Avast! says that it is working, up to date and secure. Windows is update as well.
Does anybody know why the Action Center can't see and validate the avast! installation? Below are the details:
CPU - AMD Opteron 185 2.53 Ghz
OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit edition, build 7600
Security - avast! Free Antivirus version 5.0.545, Windows Defender
