How to block LAN but allow printer access?

We have a small computer lab that needs to be isolated from our business LAN, but the computers need to be able to access the internet and print. We were told this could be done using Avast Internet Security, but I can't figure out how to do it. Any help? Thanks.

Don't know who told you this could be done with Avast IS...

I suppose it might be time to implement a VLAN or setup a different domain for them? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_LAN

One of their resellers told us that this could be done. Anyway, we are using Windows 2000 on all the lab machines. It appears that it may be possible to configure the firewall settings in Avast Internet Security to make this possible, but I thought someone might have some experience with this. If it is impossible to do this I will set up a subnet for the lab.
