Well can any i Help me out in Avast 5, Well Its Not getting updated wats d problem ?
Well Avast works quite good on my laptop but wen i told my friend use avast anti V. for his PC in Cafe.... it got installed but it ain't updating when its updating it shows sm kinda error 1st it shows Downloading files :vps_32-1db. then after few second it says :- Connection Terminated, retrying ....

welcome to the forum.
I suggest you try to repair the avast installation start>control panel>add/remove program scroll down to avast and hit uninstall  when the uninstall window comes up for avast hit repair did that help? if not try and installation from scratch uninstall avast reboot clean any left over registry keys with program like ccleaner. download and install the latest packet of avast at avast.com or filehippo.com reboot your pc.

I was having the same problem half day before. http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=60188.0 but eventually it solved out by itself. For my case, should be network problem. But none can confirm.
